Self-healing house

‘Self-healing’ house in Greece

Containing wireless sensors, this house is built in steel and gypsum, and contains polymers which would flow as a liquid into cracks formed during an earthquake, then harden to become solid again. I would be a little skeptical about how the building would actually perform during an earthquake, but it looks like a reasonable idea in principle. Could work for rammed earth.
